Roanoke is the Biking Capital of the eastern U.S., and one of the reasons is downtown's close proximity to all types of biking.

​

Half Day, Full Day and Weekly rentals are available.

​

To access these wonderful biking opportunities during your stay, we've partnered with local outfitter, Roanoke Mountain Adventures, to provide quality, well maintained bikes for all types of riding. They'll be able to point you in the direction of a ride that suits your ability and preference. 

​

Rent a mountain bike and ride from the outfitter's shop to Mill Mountain and explore 11 miles of intermediate-level singletrack trails. If you can transport the bike, we can also suggest Carvins Cove. 

​

Rent a road bike and head to the Blue Ridge Parkway. A four mile ride from the outfitter shop.  The Blue Ridge Parkways is one of America's best cycling roads. Enjoy beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

​

Rent a Greenway bike for a more relaxing ride along the Roanoke River.  The outfitter is located on the Roanoke River Greenway with nine miles of hard surface trails that are off limits to motorized traffic.
